How do you get a law passed in the EU? Where does parliament meet again? And how do we get the Smurfs out of the box? – These were the kinds of questions faced by 150pupils at Sophienschule in Hanover last week. They played the escape game "Asteroid Alarm" organised by the Hanover Adult Education Centre, which had come to the school with bag and baggage for a week. Asteroid Alarm is about saving the world and understanding how the European Union works at the same time.
Another week of "Asteroid Alarm" took place in Hannover, 12-17 June 2023: VHS Hannover was invited to the Käthe Kollwitz secondary school (Gymnasium) in the List neighbourhood to offer the escape room developed in the HYS project.

The Asteroid Alarm Escape game developed by VHS Hannover as part of the Have Your Say project was played by 150 10th graders of Hannover's Sophiengymnasium secondary school in January 2023. This was part of the school's "Europe" week.

The Have Your Say consortium met on 26-27 January 2022 in San Cristobal de la Laguna (Tenerife) for project management and coordination. Most important topics where a review of the work done for the Easy Book on the EU, and planning of the staff training event that was going to take place in Brussels 5 months later, June 2022.
